I believe that using polls in the classroom can be an effective tool because students can get instant feedback on current issues. The poll below is an example of a hot button issue here in the state of Virginia.
Merging technology and lesson plans into a creative display for students is of utmost importance to keeping the class focused and attentive. Incorporating technology such as talking avatars into the lesson grabs the focus of technology savy students of this generation. Allowing the students to experiment with the technology is the next step to bridging the material and their own creativity.
